We are in the process of getting ready! We are preparing to leave the house for 3 months. We are getting the fifth wheel and dually ready to head out on the highway. And, last but not least, I am getting ready to retire this week! We have so many things on our "To Do" list that we need a list to keep track of all the sub lists. We are excited and working very hard because we like to have things in tip top shape when we leave on a trip. This trip is much, much longer than any we have attempted before. The longest we have been on the road since we got the RV in April, 2005 is 3 whole weeks. We always enjoy ourselves so much when we travel with the RV, so we feel like we have practiced this lifestyle and now we are going to experience one of our dreams coming true.
While we are traveling, we want to share with our family and friends what we are seeing and doing. The best way to do that in this day and age is to BLOG! When we return home, we hope to continue the blog with news about retirement living.
On July 8th or 9th, we plan to head out of Oyster Bay and go to Nashville, TN to the Heartland RV's international rally. This will be the fifth one we have attended and we have made wonderful friends at the previous rallies who we can't wait to see again.
